The Therapeutic Use of Essential Oils
An introductory look at the concepts of Aromatherapy and how to use aromatic plant extracts (essential oils). Study safety guidelines and develop basic blending skills. All you will need to begin to enjoy the benefits of essential oils. In this workshop, you will study 12 essential oils and discover their potential for assisting you with stress reduction, reducing inflammation and pain, easing digestive complaints and supporting your immune system.
Participants will experience the benefits of aromatherapy firsthand by making several products to take home and use as part of daily living. If you are new to Aromatherapy, this is a great place to start your education in aromatherapy and essential oils and discover if you would like to continue your studies and become a Certified Aromatherapist.
Workshop fee: $275.00 includes a comprehesive manual and all materials used in class.

Aromatherapy Certification Program
Learn to become a professional qualified Aromatherapist during this 235-hour, comprehensive hands-on training. Aromatherapy Certification Program (ACP) prepares students to become professionally qualified in the therapeutic uses of essential oils. In this course, you will study the therapeutic uses
of 50 essential oils and how to safely use them in your business and your personal life. Students learn through an interactive learning approach ~ with a dynamic mix of activities, hands-on blending (you begin blending on the second day of class), discussions and engaging lectures.
Goals and Objectives
Our goal is to help the students develop the necessary skills to use essential oils as part of their daily lives, professionally and personally. This course provides detailed information that is essential to becoming a qualified Aromatherapist. We look at quality of essentials oils and what questions to ask when purchasing. The safe use of essential oils in practice is key to Aromatherapy and is discussed in detail. You will develop consultation skills that will allow you to choose essential oils and create blends based on your client’s individual’s needs.

You’ll make personal care products to take home like body butters and lotions, salves, lip balms, bath salts and scrubs, personal inhalers and steam blends, products to clean your homes; you’ll create a kit to take when traveling as well as a kit for all your First Aid needs.

Anyone may register for this program. There are no prerequisites and no previous Aromatherapy Training
is required. Only the enthusiasm to learn more about essential oils!
This 15-day program runs over 4 days over 4 months.
Classes begin each day at 9:30 a.m and finish at 5:30 p.m.

Successful completion of this course will prepare students for a broad spectrum of ways to implement essential oils into their career path. These possibilities range from using essential oils as a complementary addition in their practice in the healing arts such as massage therapy, reflexology, aesthetics or nursing to pursuing and establishing a business as an Aromatherapist providing consultations and selling products commercially.
In order to receive STH certification, students must complete all aspects of the ACP; and complete the online Anatomy and Physiology course. If you have previous training in A&P, you may simply take the multiple choice final exam for your credit.
