Advanced Aromatherapy Practitioner Program 

Learn to become a professionally qualified Aromatherapist. Our goal is to help students develop the necessary skills to use essential oils as part of their daily lives, professionally and personally.  

Graduates go on to - 
  • establish a business as an Aromatherapist providing consultations and treatments
  • creating and selling products commercially 
  • as a complementary addition to their current practice such as massage therapy, reflexology and aesthetics

425-hour, comprehensive hands-on training prepares students to become professionally qualified in the therapeutic uses of essential oils. Our course provides detailed up-to-date information necessary to becoming a trained Aromatherapist. 

In this course, you will study the therapeutic uses and applications of 60 essential oils and how to safely use them in your business and your personal life. We look at the chemistry to help determine each oil’s therapeutic action. Sustainability of aromatic plant and quality of essential oils, so very important to an aromatherapist is discussed. Formulation of a wide variety products is covered. 

Students learn to how to perform an in-depth consultation that allows them to choose essential oils and create blends based on their client’s individual’s needs.  

You will learn through an interactive learning approach including a dynamic mix of activities, practical applications with blending products, discussions and engaging lectures. 

This program is offered as scheduled virtual classes rather than self-directed online learning. We will travel through the course together in weekly classes. You will not be left to study alone!

Class size is kept small to provide the opportunity for the instructor to personally engage with all of her students and to allow students to receive individualized mentoring.

There are no prerequisites and no previous aromatherapy training is required. Anyone with enthusiasm to learn more about using essential oils may register for this program.

Advanced Aromatherapy Practitioner Program is recognized by Canadian Federation of Aromatherapists (CFA) and the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA), governing bodies for international and national standards for practice and education of Aromatherapists. 

Successful graduates of this program are eligible for membership with both of these associations.
  • CFA - Certified Aromatherapy Health Professional (CAHP®) 
  • NAHA - Level 2: NAHA Certified Professional Aromatherapist (NCPA®) 

Aroma Massage  

For those who wish to expand their aromatherapy certification to include aroma massage.

In this 5-day in-person class, the student will learn how to provide a 60-minute specialized massage session that incorporates essential oils and combines with various techniques (acupressure, lymphatic massage, Swedish massage techniques and reflexology designed to be restorative and balancing to the autonomic nervous system.

Successful graduates will be eligible for the CFA designation - Certified Aromatherapy Health Professional (CAHP-AM).

Prerequisite: Advanced Aromatherapy Practitioner Program or equivalent Aromatherapy Certification
Fee: $695.00 (+HST)
